Broome Technology Park Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement (DGEIS) Public Hearing

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND WRITTEN COMMENT PERIOD
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held
by the Broome County Industrial Development Agency (the
"Agency") pursuant to Article 8 of the Environmental Conservation
Law and the regulations promulgated thereto at 6 NYCRR
Part 617 (collectively referred to as "SEQRA") on April 23, 2026
at 6:00 p.m., local time, in the auditorium at Johnson City High
School, 666 Reynolds Road, Johnson City, New York, 13790
regarding the Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement
("DGEIS") the Agency has prepared for the planning and potential
development of the Broome Technology Park on approximately
537 acres located at Airport Road in the Towns of Maine
and Union in the County of Broome, New York. The public
hearing will be streamed on the date and time above referenced
at www.theagency-ny.com.


A representative of the Agency will be present at the abovestated
time and place to present a copy of the DGEIS and hear
and accept written and oral comments regarding its content.
Written comments regarding the DGEIS will also be accepted
by the Agency through May 8, 2026 and may be submitted at
the public hearing on April 23; delivered by regular mail to the
Agency at Five South College Drive, Suite 201, Binghamton, New
York 13905 (Attn: DGEIS Comment); and/or sent by email to
techpark@theagency-ny.com until the written comment period
closes on May 8, 2026. A copy of the DGEIS will be available
for review during regular business hours at Your Home Public
Library located at 107 Main Street, Johnson City, NY 13790, and
George F. Johnson Memorial Library, 1001 Park Street, Endicott,
NY 13760 and/or online at https;//broometechpark.com.


This public hearing is being conducted in accordance with 6
NYCRR § 617.9 of the SEQRA regulations.


NOTE: The Public Hearing originally scheduled on April 16,
2026, has been rescheduled to April 23, 2026.
