NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND WRITTEN COMMENT PERIOD

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Broome County Industrial Development Agency (the “Agency”) pursuant to Article 8 of the Environmental Conservation Law and the regulations promulgated thereto at 6 NYCRR Part 617 (collectively referred to as “SEQRA”) on September 10, 2024 at 6:30 p.m., local time, in the auditorium of the Maine-Endwell High School, 750 Farm to Market Road, Endwell, New York 13760 regarding the Draft Scoping Document for a Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement (“DGEIS”) the Agency will be preparing for the planning and potential development of the Broome Technology Park on approximately 526 acres located at Airport Road in the Towns of Maine and Union in the County of Broome, New York. The public hearing will be streamed on the date and time above referenced at www.theagency-ny.com.

A representative of the Agency will be present at the above-stated time and place to present a copy of the Draft Scoping Document and hear and accept written and oral comments regarding its content.

Written comments regarding the Draft Scoping Document will also be accepted by the Agency from August 26, 2024 through September 24, 2024 and may be submitted at the September 10th public hearing; delivered by regular mail to the Agency at Five South College Drive, Suite 201, Binghamton, New York 13905; and/or sent by email to techpark@theagency-ny.com until the written comment period closes on September 24, 2024. A copy of the Draft Scoping Document will be available for review during regular business hours at the Agency’s offices located at FIVE South College Drive, Suite 201, Binghamton, New York 13905 and/or online at techpark@theagency-ny.com or www.theagency-ny.com..

This public hearing is being conducted in accordance with 6 NYCRR § 617.8(d) of the SEQRA regulations.
