As a public organization, we work hard to assist in the economic development of Broome County. We have two separate entities designed to accomplish this purpose, the IDA and the LDC.

The Agency Receives Marketing Awards

The Agency’s marketing efforts were recognized at the NYS Economic Development Council (EDC) 2015 Annual Meeting held in Cooperstown, NY. The EDC represents industrial development agencies, local development corporations, and other economic development organizations from across the state. 

Each year, the EDC issues awards for excellence in marketing and promotion in a wide range of categories including website, printed materials, and other promotional items.

The Agency submitted four entries and received the following recognition:

Honorable Mentions in the following:

  • Printed Advertising
  • Multi-media presentation
  • Print or Electronic Newsletter

These awards come just weeks after The Agency launched its rebrand as the approachable, dynamic driver of economic development in Broome County, NY. 

“This is a great start for our new brand,” said executive director Kevin McLaughlin. “We’ll continue to enhance and define our role as a driver of projects and expansions in Broome County.”
